Towards the end of the 80s he developed the highly appreciated stoneware fruit shaped vases and containers with lids shaped as fruit stalks. This light blue pumpkin with a silver shining lid is a nice example.

Impressive unique gourd shaped stoneware vase by Paul Hoff, dated 1989. Made in a limited edition of 150 pieces.
Paul Hoff returned to Gustavsberg in 1981 after a cople of years as glass designer at Kosta Boda. He took up his popular production of birds and other animals. Towards the end of the 80s he developed the highly appreciated stoneware fruit shaped vases and containers with lids shaped as fruit stalks. This gourd marks the highlight of that production.
